Leadership team

Although Calvary Baptist is a self-governing congregation, we have set apart leaders to “keep watch over our souls as those who will give an account” (Heb. 13:17).  These leaders have been specially charged to shepherd, serve, teach, and govern for the good of the church.  While the church is charged to submit to its leaders, the leaders themselves are also accountable to the local congregation.

Pastor Gary Steward
Text Box: As our only vocational leader, Pastor Gary has a special role of regularly preaching and teaching at Calvary. He enjoys reading theology and spending time with his family.

Paul Winger

Paul is the director of the Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Resources at the Marine Institute.  He enjoys serving in the church and spending time with his wife and kids.

Dr. Tim Churchill

Tim has just completed his Ph.D in New Testament and is seeking to teach the Bible overseas.  He enjoys playing with his children and following current events.

Geoff Pearcey

Geoff is the General Manager of Diesel Injection Sales and Service (DISS).  He enjoys spending time with his family and passing out good books.
