The Holy Spirit transforms the lives of Christian disciples through the truth of God.  There are many texts of Scripture that highlight the importance of truth for the Christian life:

 

•Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

 

•John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”

 

•John 8:32 “...and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

 

The only infallible source of saving and transformative truth is the Bible.  It is the main resource we commend to you.  Biblical truth, however, has also been helpfully explained and applied in many good books.
