Internet Resources

We would really like you to become familiar with the following internet links. Given our desire to produce God-centred, truth-driven, gospel-loving disciples, we hope that you will explore these websites and use them for your soul’s advantage.

Desiring God
John’s Piper’s books and ministry have deeply impacted our lives and theology. This link contains information on order resources and listening to sermons online. A massive resource library of helpful articles can also be found here.

Sovereign Grace Ministries
We haven’t yet been as impacted by this organization as we would like to be. We really like the direction this ministry and group of churches is headed with its solid Reformed theology and its joy-filled, grace-driven modeling of the Christian life.

Biblical Training
Free seminary audio courses online by solid teachers. Highly recommended for those who cannot afford the time or money to go to seminary but want structured, systematic teaching.

Christian Book Distributors
A very good book service if you know how to sort through the smorgasbord of Christian books currently in print. Very reliable.

9Marks
This site is connected to Mark Dever, pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and author of The Nine Marks of a Healthy Church.  Dever’s Center for Church Reform has shaped our understanding of ministry and the local church.  This site has many good audio interviews and articles for church leaders and interested laypersons.

Monergism.com
The best resource site on the web for getting solid articles on all theological topics.  Stranded on a desert island with only one URL, we would choose this one.

Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood
This site contains many wonderful resources for wrestling Biblically and practically with issues related to gender and gender roles in the home and church.

Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service
This book service carries only the best.  Highly recommended.

The Reformed Reader
This resource contains many historic confessions and catechisms from the Baptist perspective.

The Hall of Church History
Phil Johnson has pulled together a wide variety of free internet resources related to church history, especially post-Reformation history.

The Shelter
This site has some outstanding quotes and excerpts from Francis Schaeffer, a model evangelical.

Bunyan Ministries
The complete text of all of John Bunyan’s works can be found on this website.  Bunyan was a famous Baptist in England who was imprisoned for his views.  He is the author of the famous Pilgrim’s Progress, which can be found on this site.
